The Emergency Management-Homeland Security Agency is a full time 24/7 agency, with the purpose of duel responsibility. It is tasked for advance response to prepare, mitigate, protect, and manage the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin, for any immediate or potential situation that threatens the community life, property, environment and / or the assets of the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin.

EMHS is also on call to support the regional area, as command staff on the Local-Tribal Incident Management Team (LT-IMT Team) for Police, Fire, or Rescue operations under the authorized Federal, Tribal, Local agreements, MOUs, MOAs. 

The Oneida Tribe of Indians Emergency Planning Committee (ONEPC)
The ONEPC assists in maintaining the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin Emergency Operation Plan (ERP), implements the Emergency Actions Plans, serves as incident command staff for all hazards and responds as members of the Oneida Emergency Operation Center Team under the laws, resolutions, at the request of Oneida EMHS Agency.
