Wisconsin On-Farm Testing Corn Trials
Oneida Nation Farms has been recognized and continues participating in the Wisconsin On-Farm Testing Corn Trials. This is a network of the Wisconsin Association of Professional Ag Consultants(WAPAC), which consists of crop consultants, local and statewide extension faculty and most important farmers cooperating in a coordinated effort across Wisconsin. Every year the Oneida Farms corn trials results are ranked as one of the higher yielding test plots.

The American Soybean Association and The Wisconsin Soybean Association are also included in the Oneida Nation Farms programs.  August 2006, the Oneida Farms as the host and UW Madison co-host, of the Wisconsin Soybean Field Day.

Glacierland Resource Conservation and Development Inc.
August 2006, Glacierland Resource Conservation and Development Inc. co-sponsored, the Pasture Walk, with Oneida Nation Farms as the host. Demonstrations were given in pasture diet, selection of grasses and legumes, field forage amounts, pasture fertilization, fence demonstration.

Outagamie Fair
Since 2003 The Oneida Nation Farms has participated in the Outagamie Fair Livestock Sale for the 4H and Future Farmers of America. The majority of the livestock purchased are donated to various organizations, Oneida Food Pantry, Oneida Veterans Department, Salvation Army, Paul's Pantry, The 4-H Recognition Banquet.

Oneida Nation Farms sponsors a career day at the farm, in spring of the year, by inviting some of the Oneida School students to become more aware of the Agriculture Business. The students were very enthused by what they were seeing and also had some hands on experience with the agriculture work.

In November 2005, Oneida Nation Farms was awarded the Highest Award from the Governance of American Indian Nations(known as Honoring Nations), from Harvard University. This is national awards program that identifies, celebrates, and shares outstanding examples of tribal governance. Oneida Nation Farms was issued a monetary gift, which was used to create a video of the Oneida Farms operation. This video will demonstrate principles and taking responsibility-planting the seeds for coming generations, and will be available to anyone or tribes that would like to learn more about agriculture business.
