Members must be enrolled Oneida Tribal members. The Commission shall consist of 5 members serving five year terms whom shall be full time employees for continuity and consistency to insure the integrity of all gaming as authorized by the Ordinance. First terms of office will be staggered by their votes. Members must have one year experience in one of the following areas: marketing, accounting, business management, previous tribal board, committee, or commission, gaming, law enforcement, and/ or documented formal training in any of the above areas. Members must not have been convicted of a felony, crime of fraud as defined in the Oneida Tribal Gaming Ordinance. Must not have a conflict of interest as defined by the gaming ordinance. There are (3) full time commissioners and (2) part time commissioners which include Chairwoman - Shirley Hill, Vice Chairman - Oscar S. Schuyler, Secretary - Julie Barton (part-time), Commissioner - Amelia Cornelius and Commissioner - Gary Jordan (part-time). The Oneida Gaming Commission also contains nine staff members.
