Pharmacy Services
Pharmacy hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Pharmacy is staffed with five Pharmacists and seven Pharmacy Technicians. Patients of the OCHC Pharmacy are enrolled members of federally recognized tribes, or are individuals with social or economic ties to the Oneida tribe (such as tribal employees).
Due to the large volume of prescriptions that are filled, please allow two business days from the time of your request. An automated refill line (920)869-4970, is available 24 hours a day, to accept your refill requests. Patients may also reach Pharmacy staff directly by calling (920) 869-2711.
Prescriptions can be filled with a written, faxed or phoned order to the Oneida Community Health Center Pharmacy. The Pharmacy is stocked with specific formulary medications, as determined by OCHC Physicians, Pharmacists and other health care providers.
If a patient has an alternate resource to pay for their prescriptions, such as private insurance, Medicaid or Medicare, they are required to access this coverage first. Any co-payments remaining will be charged to the health center, for tribal eligible patients.
We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone who is verbally or physically abusive to any OCHC employee, or who is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
Medically necessary non-formulary items may be obtained through an authorization from Contract Health. After hours emergency prescriptions are authorized by the on-call nursing staff. The non-formulary items or emergency prescriptions would be filled at CVS on West Mason and Military, in Green Bay with prior authorization only.
