Wisconsin Election Results
In a primary election, registered voters may participate in choosing the candidate for the party's nomination (i.e. the candidate that will ultimately run in the general election for a given party) by voting through secret ballot, as in a general election. Wisconsin has open primaries meaning that a registered voter may pick candidates regardless of their own party affiliation, but may only choose among candidates from a single party of the voter's choice.
You may pick any candidate you wish, regardless of party affiliation, in the general election.
